Toxins

Toxins are used as an injectable treatment to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This is achieved by paralization of the muscle limiting the movement of the muscle treated. The most common treatment areas are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), Frontalis (forehead), and Crow’s feet (next to eyes). Toxin is dosed per unit and can range anywhere from 10 to 100 units. Each person is different and desires different outcomes. This is why it is important to discuss areas of concern in person for the most favorable treatment outcome. Toxin typically lasts three to four months.

IV Hydration

IV hydration is a treatment used to bring back hydration to the body. This is achieved by placing an intravenous catheter into a vein and administering fluids into the bloodstream. The arm is the most common area to have an IV placed. Normal saline is the most common fluid used to rehydrate the body. Additives are often used to target specific health concerns or enhance recovery. It is important to discuss health concerns prior to treatment to develop the most effective hydration plan. Treatment usually lasts 30 minutes to an hour.

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments used to enhance facial features and restore volume. This is achieved by injecting a substance like hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxyapatite, and or other biocompatible substances into areas of the face where volume has been lost, or contouring is desired. The most common treatment areas are cheeks, lips, chin, jaw line, and nasolabial folds. It is important to discuss areas of concern in person for a more comprehensive treatment plan. Fillers usually last months to years.

Peptides

Amino acids are organic compounds that serve as the building blocks of proteins. They are linked together by peptide bonds to form peptides proteins. Peptides are smaller chains of amino acids while proteins are larger chains. Both are crucial to many biological functions in the body. Peptides are smaller in size which allows for a more targeted approach to specific biological processes. The most common uses for peptides are aiding in weight loss, anti-aging, hormone balance, and cognition to find out if peptide therapy is right for you, make an appointment to discuss your individual needs.

BHRT (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy)

Bioidentical hormones are compounded to be identical to those naturally produced by the body. They are often used to treat hormone imbalances or optimize hormone function. Benefits to bioidentical hormone therapy include improvements in energy levels, mood, sexual health and well-being, and fat reduction. BHRT begins with blood work to determine if treatment is right for you.
